The Government presented the European Union Referendum Bill to Parliament on the 28th of May. The purpose of the Bill is to enable a referendum to be held on whether the UK should remain a member of the European Union.

The Bill is expected to have its second reading, where the general principles of the bill will be debated, in the House of Commons on the 9th of June.

The progress of the Bill can be followed on the Bill Tracker section of Public Information Online. This database, available to UoA staff and students, can be accessed through Primo. Off campus UoA users will be prompted to log in via Shibboleth.
