GoingAbroad: new road safety app for the European Union

Planning to hire a bike or car on holiday this year? Want to know more about road travel in your destination? Then it might be worth having a look at the free GoingAbroad road safety app from the European Commission. This app enables you to look up all sorts of road safety information, specific to 31 different European countries, such as the rules regarding:

  • Seat belts
  • Traffic lights
  • Alcohol limits
  • Influence of drugs
  • Mobile phones
  • …and more

You can also easily compare regulations between different countries and even play a couple of road safety themed educational games.
