Aberdeen University users can also find EU Bookshop material using the ‘All Collections’ tab in Primo. Any EU Bookshop items that appear in your search results can be accessed by clicking the title, which will take you straight through to the Bookshop itself, where you can download a pdf of your document.

The European Documentation Centre (EDC) in Taylor Library receives studies, reports, journals and pamphlets on a wide range of subjects from the Publications Office of the European Union as part of its contract with the European Commission.  All material received in hard copy is catalogued and added to Primo. However in addition to providing hard copies to EDCs the Publications Office also provides free access to material electronically via the EU Bookshop.

Increasingly, there is a move to electronic only publishing so there are thousands of titles freely available on the EU Bookshop which do not appear on Primo. Subjects include the economy, energy, the environment, law, trade and transport.

Check it out.

If however you still can’t find what you are looking for – do it the old fashioned way and visit us in person at the EDC Office and we’ll help you find the material you need.
